The Trail Network encompasses over 800 km of walking, biking and riding and trails, as well as 50-60 km in nearby Golden Ears Provincial Park. Maple Ridge has been named one of the Top Sport Communities in BC and is home to a Rotary "Home Town Hero" program dedicated to providing local students with positive role models and inspiration in sport. Rotary Sport Field is a multi-use synthetic turf field located at Samual Robertson Technical Secondary School.
The Albion Sports Complex can easily accommodate a variety of outdoor sports including football, soccer, baseball and softball. The Sports Compex is also conveniently located beside Planet Ice, the Golden Ears Winter Club and the Albion Fairgrounds.
The Greg Moore Youth Centre features an indoor area great for dryland training and activities such as basketball, floor hockey, skateboarding and indoor soccer.
Golden Ears Provincial Park is one of the largest parks in British Columbia with spectacular scenery, lakes and a variety of recreational offerings that make it the perfect setting for triathlons, orienteering and a variety of water sports.
The Hammond Community Centre is central to both the Hammond Stadium and the Hammond 25 meter Outdoor Pool. Hammond Stadium is a 5.362 hectare park complete with Baseball Diamonds, Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts and Soccer Field.
