The Albion Fairgrounds, host to the Annual Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Country Fair, has a wide variety of buildings available for public use, including commerical and exhibition buildings, a beef barn, show rings and an outdoor riding ring.
The fairgrounds are also home to equestrian and 4-H groups, as well as supporting other local sports groups.
-Commercial Building (39'x153' ) & Exhibition Building (39'x153' ) - These two assembly halls have concrete floors and can be used for activities such as floor hockey.
-Beef Barn (74'x115') - An open sawdust floor makes this facility perfect for an indoor riding ring.
-Stage - The perfect setting for an outdoor theatre or show.
-Show Rings - This area can accommodate dog shows complete with judging area.
-Outdoor Riding Ring - Regularly used for outdoor equestrian events.
-Kitchen - Available when reserving another building for a special event, the kitchen has windows open to the outside and is complete with an array of amenities.
-A caretaker is on site to assist and direct groups.

Maple Ridge's climate is one of the mildest, enjoying the longest frost-free period and growing season in Canada . Spring and Fall can often be very warm and pleasant, especially in June and September. The District experiences an estimated 1,400 to 1,800 sunshine hours annually with 73% of the total occurring during April through September. Summer temperatures range from 22 to 28°C (72 to 83°F). Winters are mild, and if snow falls it doesn't stay long. Average low temperature for December and January is 2 to 4°C (36 to 39°F). The District receives approximately 1,150 mm of precipitation annually, with most rainfall occurring between October and March
